We Love The Once-Ler |
Happy 30th Anniversary to the beloved environmentalist fable
The Lorax!
Once-ler is love, Once-ler is life. Once-ler will for ever be your badass best friend in logging and destruction. Once-ler will still be a harvester of Truffula trees, even if he is already living in his Lerkim. Please sue me.
Who is the Once-ler, right? Once-ler is the man who lives in his Lerkim on top of his store. You won't see the Once-ler. Do not knock on his door, unless you intend to speak to him about something, especially trees. All you need to do to speak to him is 15 cents, a nail, and a shell of a great-great-grandfather snail. Way back in the days when the grass was still green, Once-ler came into that glorious place full of Truffula trees. However, after exploiting these trees and soon destroying the once-colorful forest, Once-ler soon regrets his greed-ridden decision.

Below this paragraph you will see lot'sa art work depicting him and his beautiful green gruvvulous gloves. Well, all you ever needed is some fanservice art of the great, powerful, and corrupted mysterious guy, eh?!
Phew. If you've accessed the explicit fanservice that they Once-ler fans draw of him, you are a REAL Once-ler fan. I am just gonna stick with the regular Once-ler. Alright, little Once-ler fan-to-be?
LOOK, these fans screwed up the Once-ler and turned him into a young grown-up human instead of a green-gloved creature. But I believe they're just trying to make him relatable to every logger in the world.
Expecting this Once-ler page to end?!?! Here is a 5-min video summary on how great the Once-ler is, and how you should OBEY him more than the Lorax! OBEY Once-ler, DESTROY Lorax!
What's more! A video interview with Bob Holt, the voice behind the Once-ler from the 1972 TV special, has surfaced! Woo for the corrupt guy, yes!!
