Sugar Rush's Most "Beloved" Glitch

"I'm not a glitch, Taffyta. I just got pixlexia, okay?"
—Vanellope von Schweetz, "Wreck-It Ralph"

Vanellope von Schweetz is a character in "Wreck-It Ralph" who's aged nine. She is a character in "Sugar Rush" who was ostracized by her colleagues due to her being a glitch. Why was she a glitch? King Candy tried to delete her code, and screwed up everyone's memories so that they couldn't remember her true identity (a princess). Being a glitch, Vanellope can fluctuate, giving off a light-blue pixelated aura which she calls it her "pixlexia". Her glitching abilities soon make her the most beloved character to play as for "Sugar Rush" players.

Wait, you don't know "Sugar Rush" yet? That's sad. Here's a trailer for the game to let you know.

Fan opinion on Vanellope seems to be divided: some call her adorable, while others call her annoying. Check out the left and right sidebars, respectively, to see why.

When I was eight, I was one of the fellas who loved Vanellope; I even drew her on whole sheets of bond paper. One drawing has her saying: "I deleted my medal of Hero's Duty in Sugar Rush." Now I realized she took Ralph's medal, because she thought it was a gold coin, a token to get into the Random Roster race. Which, by the way, is a race every night to determine the top nine characters to be used as playables in the next day.

The Left Wing

Hey! I think Vanellope is so cute! I adore her design!
