It's freaking Fix-It Felix Jr.!!

This is a great shrine dedicated to the repairman with a heavenly hammer. Felix is the best character in the Wreck-It Ralph universe, you gotta believe me!! He's nice, he's adorable, and he's the hero! But uh oh, it looks like he has a single flaw: his childishness!

P.S. Felix is so cute! I just so wanna hug him! He's even cuter when he dies and holds a white rose! I wanna collect merch of him even though I cannot buy online. That's why I have the Funko Soda figurine right now. To top it, Felix's like, the modern version of Disney's Pinocchio!

History

It was November 2012 one day. I was seven way back. I was intrigued by some poster featuring Sonic the Hedgehog (whom I have played fan games of). I asked my mother if I wanted to watch that movie. She said I can, and to attract me she even said there would be a Sonic plushie (to this day, no plushie!). The next night, I was watching the movie, not noticing it was Wreck-It Ralph. This was the first time I had ever seen Felix in my life.

Next year, I got a Wreck-It Ralph DVD from one of the store stalls. I only watched it once. Later, I exploited the DVD cover to draw some sketches of Vanellope. I even went to some Halloween party dressing up as Vanellope. And then in 2016, I'd watch Wreck-It Ralph repeatedly during a 6-hour car drive.

In 2018, Ralph Breaks the Internet was released. I was surprised to see Felix on the big screen again (but only for a short while). Nowadays, I consider RBTI as one of the worst Disney movies ever, and its predecessor one of the most nostalgic Disney movies of all time.

Why Felix is the best WIR character ever

Felix is the second cutest WIR character, falling behind the "Sugar Rush" racers themselves. Wanna know why? Take a look at his face. You'll notice the pretty light-blue eyes that signify his innocence and position as a video-game hero. The big pink nose and pink cheeks that symbolize his happiness and full health. You should also remember that Felix resembles his voice actor. And you'll also notice his stature: he's absolutely tiny, only four feet tall compared to the nine-foot tall hulk of a wrecker. I just so wanna cuddle him so much.

He's also the nicest guy to be with. Felix is a friendly young man who isn't willing to swear or do violent things. He even sees Ralph as beyond his villainy, unlike the Nicelanders (technically, Felix is also a Nicelander since he lives inside it). You'd love to have a chat with Felix, don't you?

There's also his voice. I'd describe it as a Southern-accent tenor voice since he does some drawls and stuff. It's all thanks to Jack McBrayer, who also played the carnival barker in "Despicable Me"! Felix's lines in the first movie are truly memorable. Here is one: "Ralph probably fell asleep in the washroom of Tapper's again."

We lastly have here the general color aesthetic of Felix. He wears blue, and his eyes are blue. I like blue. Blue is the color of serenity, of sea, and of the sky. Blue is easy on the eyes and it sure will calm someone down from stress.

Why Felix is oppressed by Disney

Roughly quoting TV Tropes: though Felix is the good guy of his own video game, he is often mistreated and misunderstood by outsiders.

Well, Disney does mistreat him too. Generally, Disney prioritizes his nemesis over him, since they think the movie's titular character is more memorable than him. Ralph Breaks the Internet hammers this oppression down by having him get a whopping five minutes of screen time, his subplot (which is him and his wife Calhoun babying the "Sugar Rush" racers) not fully explored. It's very sad. This subplot was to be a B-plot, but now it's been excessively trimmed down. This sequel has only one poster featuring Felix, which is him angrily pointing his hammer at an ashamed Ralph. Despite this, he has been promoted a lot in the official RBTI print media.

If you take a look at the Disney100 product line, you'll notice that the front-facing 2D character art has only one WIR character: Ralph. However, in "Once Upon a Studio", Felix gets fifteen seconds of screen time, compared to Mickey and friends who hog the show. Still, Disney's business strategy is what leaves this beloved handyman nowhere to go; the enterprise prioritizes popular franchises such as Frozen, Disney Princess, and more. Here's hoping Felix'll get a major role in [Wreck-It Ralph 3]!
