Me, Ana, says Kat loves animals, so why not show her tiny animal figurines? Me was the one who put the sakura petals in the background. Here's what the one have to say.
This is a shrine page centering on the Japanese figurine series by Epoch, "Sylvanian Families". As you can see, when I was younger I used to collect "Sylvanian Families" figurines. My first item I ever got was the Silk Cat Family. I accidentally put them in my bath, and their flocking wore off, revealing their plastic skin. There was also this time when I applied red crayon to some of the figurines, and it was collateral damage.
For the Silk Cat family, in the 2020s, they were replaced by the third iteration of the Persian Cat Family. It's sad to see them go, considering they were the first ever "Sylvanian Families" item that I have ever gotten.
Over on Japan, "Sylvanian Families" has gotten an OVA, a four-season webisode series, a TV series, and more recently, a feature film. The quality of each CG production has improved steadily; however, the animation on the TV series leaves something to be desired as it is somewhat cheap.
These are the Sylvanian Families toy sets that I remember purchasing way back when:
If you'll click on the link below, you'll see the happy memories of me playing with "Sylvanian Families" when I was 5-7 years old.
